Point-to-Multipoint Capabilities

The OleumTech® GP-DH3 Wireless Gateway plays an instrumental role in the GP Sensor Network by wirelessly collecting critical process data from GP Wireless Transmitter and other Wireless Gateways in its network and storing the values in its 1920-point Modbus register holding table. It also has the ability to carry out output commands to mapped outputs points.

Ethernet, Serial, and Data Logging

With its Ethernet and two configurable Serial ports, the GP-DH3 can interface any third-party Modbus device for delivering data to the cloud. The GP-DH3 offers data logging in the form of event-based logging and data trending. Trending is accessible via Web Server. The GP-DH3 is equipped with a MicroSD card slot for storing non-volatile data onto optional MicroSD card.

Peer-to-Peer Capabilities

In the GP Sensor Network, multiple Gateways can be deployed in the same network, creating an advanced peer-to-peer networking infrastructure. Each Gateway in the network can have its own set of Transmitters that can be peered to other Gateways in a network. By taking advantage of its high scalability and communication flexibility, users can gain a competitive edge by reducing material, labor, and engineering costs.

Advanced I/O Mapping

The GP Sensor Network is highly advanced enabling a GP-DH3 or any other Gateway to take any input source or Modbus register and map it to an available output or to another register anywhere within its network. There are virtually no limitations as to how the GP Network can be utilized for automation.
